Wonderful chest of seven drawers. I think it is made out of beech or elm. Two smaller drawers over five equal sized wider and slightly deeper ones. Cabinet making of Japanese style with lots of dowels and types of joins. Curved section at bottom of drawers acts as method to pull them out. All drawers work well. They have solid wood sides and backs with ply bottoms. Wider five drawers also have a guide underneath in the middle. Sitting on set back solid wood base. Edges of body and drawer fronts solid wood with the rest a thick ply. Small wooden gallery on back and sides of top. Unusual but stylish piece of furniture. There is no borer.
